I had a fabulous time at the Indie Craft Bazaar this Sunday– there were so many talented vendors and just cool people in general! Granted, there was a flash monsoon of The Great Flood proportions smack in the middle, but it’s always good to keep on our toes, right? Here’s a look at a few of the nifty vendors there, and my display. (I got these top photos on Facebook thanks to rachellovespeace.etsy.com, as we didn’t take nearly enough photos ourselves…)

The illustration “Storytime” has been included in this week’s literacyhead article, Write stARTs. Since this piece was originally created to inspire kids to read, I’m super excited that it can get some further use helping students learn and think about art! Literacyhead is a great online magazine for educators to work with students teaching literacy through art. Take a look!

Success! I was lucky enough to be accepted into the Indie Craft Bazaar on July 18th. Time to get to work…. If you’re in the Ft. Lauderdale area, be sure to check it out. There’ll be tons of weird and cute handmade stuff!

I am excited to be one of the artists featured in the Good to Know Zine’s #6 issue at Pikaland! The Good to Know Zine at Pikaland.com is an awesome collection of thoughts and advice from illustrators based on a theme for that particular issue. This issue’s question was about jealousy:
